Take-out

Okazuya takeout is amazing. You get great tasting food at reasonable prices. The address is: 3600 Lower Honoapiilani Rd (808) 665-0512. When you leave the Papakea driveway, make a left and Okazuya will be in a small shopping center on the right.
Groceries

Groceries - There is Times Market right across the street from the Papakea. We generally shop at Costco (by the airport) and then Safeway in Lahaina as Times Market is expensive.

Beach
There is a wide beach that starts a couple of resorts away from the Papakea. The Beach area can be accessed by walking or driving to the third driveway from the Papakea (make a right when leaving the Papakea).
Fleming beach is has bigger waves and more suitable for boogie boarding. Water can be rough so take precaution.
Walking Boardwalk
There is a boardwalk that runs along the beach. Follow the above directions and you will see a parking lot and showers/bathroom and the boardwalk starts at this point. We walk or run along this boardwalk each morning.
IAO Valley
If your looking to do something low-key. I’ve enjoyed IAO valley. It may cost for parking, but there are no other costs. It’s a ½ day trip to hike and see nature.
